Wash off any oils or lotions that you may have on your skin.
Menastil’s® absorption can be blocked by lotions and oils that are in some products you may use on your skin. Simply use warm water with soap to wash off the site of application if you have used a lotion or oil since you last showered.
How is it applied?
Menastil® comes in a small 1/8 oz. glass bottle with a roll-on applicator. You simply remove the cap, and roll a generous amount of Menastil® directly on the area of cramping. It will not spill, and you can apply as much or as little as you need. Once Menastil® is applied, it will take a few short minutes to become effective. Many women report better results when they apply Menastil® in a relaxed position. Some women reported faster results when they gently massage Menastil® into the area of discomfort. Others suggest that keeping the area warm improves the effectiveness.
What does topical mean?
Topical means the application of Menastil® directly to the skin, on the area of discomfort. It is not ingested or taken orally.
How does Menastil® work?
The pain from menstrual cramps, like other muscle cramps, is caused when the muscle contracts. Contraction causes the flow of blood and oxygen to be reduced. Menastil® is designed to relax the uterine muscle, which causes the flow of blood and oxygen to the uterus to increase, thereby reducing the pain.
It reads in the instructions that keeping the area warm increases the effectiveness of Menastil®. Why?
Keeping the area of discomfort warm will often enhance relief by relaxing the uterine muscle and increasing the flow of blood and oxygen.
What does it feel like when applied?
Most women have reported either a warming sensation or a cool tingling sensation on the area after Menastil® was applied.
Once my pain has been relieved, is it okay to wash Menastil® off?
Yes, once your pain has subsided, you may wash Menastil® off, and the peppermint scent will disappear. If you can, put Menastil®
Does it stain clothes?
In our tests, Menastil® was applied to more than 15 types of clothing material. After applying the product and then washing in cold water with non-bleach laundry detergent, no staining or residual odor was noted.
Is it greasy?

Is Menastil® an all-natural product?
Menastil® is all natural, not a man-made chemical. The product is applied directly to the skin on the area of discomfort. This means that you are not ingesting a drug that could affect your whole body.
Is it greasy?
No, Menastil®, when applied to the skin, leaves no residue. Simply wash your hands after use.
What does it smell like?
Menastil® has an earthy peppermint scent.
What is it made of?
Menastil® is a blend of pure all-natural essential oils with mineral oil. The active ingredient is Calendula oil, which is made by extracting the oil from marigold petals.
What's an essential oil?
An essential oil is the pure concentrated extract of a plant or flower.
Does it stain clothes?
In our tests, Menastil® was applied to more than 15 types of clothing material. After applying the product and then washing in cold water with non-bleach laundry detergent, no staining or residual odor was noted.
Where is it made?
Menastil® is produced in the United States in FDA inspected facilities.
Does it expire?
Degradation tests (heat, cold, UV) have been performed on the product and indicate the product is effective for at least three (3) years.
What type of package does it come in?
The bottle is about the size of a tube of lipstick and is secured in a 2in Wide x 1½in Diameter x 4in Length retail box. It is then shipped in a cushioned envelope.
Are there any animal products in Menastil®?
No, Menastil® contains only all natural essential oils, plus mineral oil, and is cruelty free.
Has it been tested on animals?

Is it a cure?
Your cramps will likely reappear during your next cycle and require another application of Menastil® to relieve them. No, Menastil® provides temporary relief from your menstrual cramps but it does not cure them. However, many of the subjects who tested Menastil® found that one application was effective for the entire menstrual cycle.
What if I'm nursing, pregnant or taking oral contraceptives (i.e. the Pill)?
We suggest that you check with your physician prior to using this product to ensure that Menastil® is appropriate to use.
What if I get it in my eyes?
Flush immediately with plenty of clean water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention if irritation persists. We suggest you wash your hands after each use.
